![]() The property is so very well kept and everyone makes massive strides to ensure this is maintained throughout. They few times we saw ugly scenes of staff being mistreated ,we took offense, even up to a point where we voiced our concerns to management and advised them of how patient and so humble their staff was. In an era when people value things over each other, it was nice to get away to this quaint sanctuary and treasure all the subtle things that make life what it is. Treat staff with respect and honour and the end result will work in everyone's interest.The nightly entertainment by Jude the dude is exceptional and there was always something every evening to just make the night mellow and smooth. They are the model of success and just lend credence to the fact that "sometimes the true measure of brilliance' is not in what we can see, our what's deemed cosmetic but its through the warm infectious nature of people. We have been to a few places over the last few years but never have we come across a more elite bunch of employees. They typify excellent service and their overall customer service in truly unmatched. Again, the highlight of this trip which for the wife and i was an anniversary and birthday, was the impeccable staff. The all inclusive on offer is more than adequate and truth is there is everything available at this gem of a place. Silver Beach as a hotel offers such a variety when it comes to food and drinks are plentiful. We visited Île aux Cerfs and a few other scenic spots. They make this place 5 star in every sense of the word.The stretch of beach this place sits on is probably the best in Mauritius and never mind the wind during the "winter months" you can still top up your tan.Trou d'eau Douce is a beautiful setting and it's ok to get out and see a bit of the island. Silver Beach is a notch above the rest and it's staff are it's biggest asset. I don't think anyone reserves a right to complain about this place. One last note of caution, the restaurant closes at 9:30 PM and wifi reception is good only at the pool area. ![]() Better toiletries, Mineral water in room, bigger pool table with adequate queues. I would also like to take this opportunity to convey our heartfelt gratitude to a few members of the restaurant staff for making our stay all the more memorable. The climate at this time of the year is heavenly. The cooks go out of the way to dish out requested vegetarian food, but it definitely is not there forte. We loved the food although for vegetarians especially Jains it can be quiet frustrating. The restaurant and bar surround a performance courtyard. The sequel was written about taking the next step by unearthing your dreams, discovering your true calling, purpose, and destiny.
